Kenai River guides??????

Hi! i’m going to fish the Kenai River in late june and i’m wondering which guides are the best (for half day trips). All of their websites look the same and i don’t know which one’s best. :O {

Will casting with a topshot of mono and spectra backing get caught up in the guides?

I was wondering if its possible for the knot to get snagged somewhere behind one of the guides as I go for a long cast. I’ll be fishing from a boat, and the fish im going for are some easily spooked yellowtails. This will be my first time using spectra, and im not sure how i should arrange my set up. I was looking to use half of the reel for spectra, and then a top shot of mono. I will probably use the pole to both flyline sardines, and for casting my tadys and salas jr. Info and tips will be greatly appreciated!

Where to collect fish and coral in the Florida Keys?

Hi, I’m traveling to the Florida Keys later on this month. First of all, let me start by saying that I do know the laws, regulations and requirements for collecting fish in Florida:

So please, don’t tell me it is completely illegal, and cannot be done. I know what can and cannot be collected, furthermore I do know how to care for these creatures as I am an experienced hobbyist. My question again is: where would be a good place to collect these fish and coral in the Florida Keys.
Last few times I went to the keys I went snorkeling in Bahia Honda and there is plenty of marine life there, however according to their guide: http://www.floridastateparks.org/bahiahonda/docs/SnorkelinglGuide%20toMarineLifeofBahiaHonda.pdf
it says nothing can be taken from there, except for crab and lobster while they are in season.
I do not have the money at this time to afford a diving trip, so please, if you can, suggest a site that may be accessible by the beach like Bahia Honda is.

Would you go Noodling?

im goin tomorrow! and if you dont know what it is its where you fish with your hand. you stick ur hand in a hole and when the fish bites you you grab it.Would you pay a guide to go? i kinda want to be a guide and take people out and let them do it. aslo have you ever done it? my dad said that most girl would be scared to do it .
