My pops is turning 60 this year. Me and my bro are thinking about taking him to Cabo, Cancun or Miami for golfing, sport fishing and eating..What is the best place for these kinds of activities?

If you are a sportfishing enthusiast, you will find that there is great fishing in the Cabo San Lucas area pretty much all year round. The best months are known to be October through June around Los Cabos. You can always head over to the East Cape for great fishing March to November. For marlin fishing you can’t beat September, October and November.
As a summertime fisherman, you might be more likely to catch wahoo, tuna, sailfish, or dorado. Striped marlin and yellowtail you might catch towards winter and early spring.
You must have a fishing license to fish in Los Cabos. You can obtain a Mexican sportfishing license from the Mexican fisheries department and it will cost you $8 for a day or $25 for a month. To purchase a license before your trip, you can contact the Mexico Department of Fisheries at (619) 233-6956, or by mail at 2550 5th Avenue, Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92103.
The Mexican government does have limitations set, however, and each fisherman is allowed 10 fish per day, no more than 5 of any one species. Catch and release is greatly encouraged. However, if you do want to take you fish back home with you, California customs allows import of fish for personal consumption and you must show your legal take to customs inspectors at the border.

Destin Florida is the Worlds Luckiest Fishing spot. There are lotsa charter boats and good fishing. Guided tours are to be found, they even got a glass bottom boat!
Clearwater Beach, Florida has the best Salt water fishing guided tours around. Guranteed to have a blast, take Beer with you and enjoy catching fish.
When you return your fish is cleaned for you and packed in ice in your cooler.
I have been twice and you keep everything you can handle. We brought back three coolers full of Spanish Mackarel and fill my upright freezer till the next trip in about 12 months.
All of my fish fry’s localy are great and I even conrtibute to organizations to help them oout.
To cut the costs, I take orders before I go and it pays for half my trip.
